Saśl Rubio opened La Carreta's doors on July 24th, 1998. He wanted to provide guests with delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine and friendly service. The name of the restaurant comes from the Mexican town of Queretaro. La Carreta is a common name for restaurants in Saul's hometown.
With its bright colors, vintage architecture and Mexican artwork, La Carreta has a fun, energetic atmosphere that reflex's old Mexico. Because the majority of the restaurant staff is from Mexico and can help patrons with their questions about Mexican cuisine, language and culture, it creates a unique dining experience.
The key to the success of the restaurant involves excellent customer service, speed and consistency in offering great food. La Carreta has continued to set the standard for Mexican restaurants with delicious meals at great prices in an authentic setting.
